Minister of Finance, Y.Stournaras: “Public Utilities are next for reforms”
“Public Utilities are next for reforms” stated Greek Minister of Finance, Yiannis Stournaras, in his interview, forewarning of privatizations, downsizing and mergers. He also warned that “Negotiations with the Troika in September next, are not to be easy, given that the government’s efforts for the years 2013 and 2014 have been successful but the debate is still open for the years 2014 and 2015”.
“While Samara’s government is ready to dismiss thousands of civil servants, the Minister of Finance is setting the path for the new austerity measures in September”, was the response of SYRIZA.
