«It is high time the end credits dropped for the major mistake of June 11th»

''It is high time the end credits dropped for the major mistake of June 11th'' declare the employees of ERT, stressing the need for dialogue with the government.

They also note that the broadcasted one-dimensional interviews are potentially useful for the communication strategy of the government, but do not contribute positively to finding a solution, insisting that the debate on the present and the future of public broadcasting requires two parties.

The employees of ERT once more repeat that they have publicly and categorically stated they do not hinder any process of equipment delivery and receipt whatsoever, nor are they holding back any form of data regarding past work experience and service years of their fellow colleagues.

Moreover, a delegation of the EBU is expected today in our country, in order to meet with the Minister, as well as with the administrator of ERT S.A., Mr. Gkikas Manalis.

The proposal of SYRIZA for a formal inquiry as to the “padlock” on the Public Broadcaster will be discussed on Friday.

SYRIZA focuses primarily on the loss suffered by the State and the Greek citizens from the government's decision to close the ERT, which is estimated at approximately three hundred fifty million euros.

In the meanwhile, the projection of the TV Series “Drifting States” by the spurious so called “Public TV” caused the angry reaction of both script writer, director and co-producer Roviros Manthoulis, and leading actor George Corraface.

Roviros Manthoulis who is also the co-producer of the series, announced that the state television and the state in general no longer have any legal right on it.
