After his meeting with the Greek Prime Minister in Washington, Barrack Obama, the American president declared: “Austerity cannot be Greece’s only way of confronting big challenges”. He also noted the need for development and for the creation of working positions. He stated he is convinced Greece will succeed.

The Greek Prime Minister highlighted the sacrifices that the greek people has been subjected to, losing 25% of their income during the last years.
