Council of State has adjudicated that ERT trade union's legal appeal for a temporary order against the ministerial decision has a legal basis, until the final decision in September next. The decision concerns the radio and television stations and the web page but not "Radiotelevision" magazine.

CoS also assigns to ministers S.Kedikoglou and G. Stournaras the responsibility to ensure the function of ERT and to sign a common decision according to which ERT will continue to exist until the creation of the new broadcaster, presently.

According to the decision employees contracts cannot be renounced neither can they be compensated before the final decision is released in September next.
The state is expected to submit an appeal for the suspension of the Council of State's' president K.Menoudakou temporary order.
