'Reactions to the reset of healthcare provision number ΓΥ/39Α

The trade union of centres for prevention of addictive substances rebukes government's decision to bring back the healthcare provision number ΓΥ/39Α.

In a relative announcement trade union's council states;'' We denounce the act of bringing back the healthcare provision number ΓΥ/39Α by minister of Health and Welfare ,Adonis Georgiadis,as due to this provision HIV seropositive prostitutes were arrested and pilloried in April 2012.

This healthcare provision is reinstated so as to ''secure'' public health.''Governmental stuff ''tries to make society forget that a necessary condition for ensuring public health is the access of every citizen to public, free and qualitative health services, all of which have been systematically ruined by memorandum governments. No matter what kind of technical machinery they might use ,no matter how many employees they might mobilise,no matter how many immigrants they might place to barrack alike camps,no matter how many women they might pillory, they will not manage to do it.

A healthy society can only exist when its vulnerable social groups won't be under lasting suppression or being prosecuted or pilloried by ''specialists'' in politics, media or science.Obligatory police alike sanitary control and a sense of living in fear and cannibalism cannot ensure the creation of a healthy society.A healthy society is neither legislated nor imposed. It is built, step by step in spirit of solidarity, democracy and denouncement of every attempt enforced by a limited number of people who always try to gain profit by having others serving them for a while.

It is clear that we call for the abolishment of this health care provision and its replacement ,at first,by a serious, pluralistic and humanitarian health system that everyone would have access to without exception.''
