The Minister of anti-ERT insists, with divisive moves, on his desire to implement the plans to make ERT disappear. He is already looking to find a Trojan Horse, calling people and first-grade unions individually, to break up the employees’ unity! For 16 days now, he has been blatantly ignoring the Council of the State decision, for the transmitters to open and a full radio-television programme to be provided. POSPERT (Panhellenic Federation of Greek Broadcasting Unions) is appealing tomorrow to the Council of the State, about its decision not being implemented. It is now clearly visible, from what they say, that they are trying to consolidate the anti-constitutional illegal direction with some “pirate” broadcasting of a few hours’ programme!!! We are not accepting any transitional period that underestimates the constitutional requirement for civilisation and information.
Let them submit bills, they will remain in papers, the fight continues against the plans for lay-offs in the public and private sectors, against the implementation of slavery forms of employment, with burdensome conditions, elastic and marginal employment relationships with individual contracts that insult any sense of right, against the arbitrary abolition of democracy! The employees’ meetings collectively give the reply of fight continuation, for ERT to open now, with a full programme, as if it had not been shut for even a day, without lay-offs, with no rights lost.
